Item Description
For sale is an original WWII photo of Lt. Colonel Marshall S. Brown 12th Evac Hospital, along with a miniature copy of a letter dated 17 November, 1944 from Dwight D. Eisenhower.
The photo comes from the estate of Lt. Colonel Marshall S. Brown, Jr., 12th Evacuation Hospital, APO 403, US Army.
The small 1944 letter photo is stamped on the back "Passed by US Army Examiner" with 09107 stamped in a circle. It's an ETO photo - European Theater of Operations.
The Lt. Colonel photo measures 7" wide x 5" tall. Letter measures 3" wide x 4 1/8" tall.
It's a great original WWII collector item and would make a great addition for any WW2 collector.
Condition
The photo of the Lt. Colonel is in excellent condition with light wear. The Eisenhower copy has a light crease. Please see photographs to judge condition for yourself.
