This Buy It Now Auction, offers a piece of nostalgia of the WWII era, in the form of a Post Card... these were penny postcards.  The
Front
side shows the P-66 in flite, with all of the insignias for Army, Navy & Marine Corps.  This BIN auction is for
ONE
card - but I have two available, all in Excellent Condition.  They are on some type of a heavy linen paper, as it has a texture to it.  The
Back
side shows the silhouette of the plane at different top/side/front angles with the "Manufactured by Longshaw Card Co., Los Angeles, Calif."  There is a signed name "JusmeT." -   Check out my other auctions listed to see other cards available.
My late husband had a habit of always getting more than one, if there was more available, so items I've found tucked away, usually have duplicates or more.  The best part of that, was he always put things away so they were protected to stay nice.  He wasn't in the service himself, however he had an uncle that was in the Army (Thank you for your service Pete & RIP), and that may have been how he came to have these.
