The subject of this poster is the extremist Jewish-American writer Theodore Nathan Kaufman, who called for the sterilization of German people. The Nazis used Kaufman’s writings extensively in propaganda material, and falsely claimed that “his ideas were popular opinion in America, and that Kaufman was an associate of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.” (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, 1990.333.57).
A rare museum-calibre piece, this poster is being offered in excellent, linen-backed condition with strong colours and no paper loss or problematic stains, tears or creases. Measures approx. 47.5" x 32.75".
