U.S. MARINE CORPS / IWO JIMA STAMPS
Set of 2 genuine U.S. postage stamps honoring the United States Marine Corps soldiers
raising the U.S. flag on Mount Suribachi - Iwo Jima during World War II. The design is based on the original photograph taken by Joe Rosenthal for which he won a Pulitzer Prize. The green stamp was issued in 1945 and the orange-background stamp was issued in 1995 (50th anniversary).
Mint, post office fresh condition.
