Turkey/Turkish Bayonet Modified to fit M1. This is an older model Turkish bayonet that their arsenal applied a second muzzle ring to fit an M1. Maybe as early as WWII or as late as the Korean war. No dents in scabbard. All metal of bayonet is quality heavy steel. Push button works. Small gouge in one side of wood grip. Rivets are secure. No wiggle in cross guard. Study especially top of rifle slot carefully-there is roughness there? A 6 digit number on one side of pommel & a worn 'ASFA' on other side of pommel; which is the ID abbreviation of a Turkish arsenal. Could use an overall cleaning. Please study photos carefully.
