This is a neat booklet, I'm not sure of the purpose other than to raise morale. It includes lots of history and information on the islands, but it is hard to believe it would be promotional for tourism given the last couple pages about the war (WWII) and how close it is to the islands, which contributed men to the Guadalcanal Campaign.  Really neat piece of WWII/Pacific Islands history.
Poor to fair. Contents generally clean with some dog-ears, paper covers barely hanging on by about a 1" section at the top, a few chips to covers.
I have scanned all of the pages with illustrations but not all of the text.
