    I do not know where I obtained this photograph. I purchase lots of photos at yard sales. Through my own investigation I have determined this is from May 7, 1945, the day the Germans attacked the people in the square. The people in the picture all have their attention in one direction, my thought is probably before the attack. I compared to other photos from that fateful day and I believe this is from that same day. People were gathering to celebrate Liberation Day.
