This pen came out of an office supply/pen store that closed in 1999. It may very well be old new stock or lightly used. When flushed with water only clear water came out. It has not been engraved. Some light surface wear, a couple of slightly darker areas (hard to see) and one scratch on the blind cap. It comes in it's original box.
