    Hakkapeliitta
was the Finnish Journal of the Civil Guard organization in 1926-1944. With weekly publication, and with tens of thousands of subscribers. On the 19th of September 1944, Finland and Soviet Union signed a truce agreement which ended the Continuation War. According to the 21st article of the truce agreement Finland committed itself to: ".abolishing all Hitlerian-minded (fascist-natured) political, military- like and military-natured, and other organizations which practiced propaganda that was against the United Nations and especially hostile to the Soviet Union". That was the end for Hakkapeliitta magazine and Civil Guard.
