Civil War Veteran, Grand Army of the Republic, G.A.R., Walking Stick, G.A.R., Wooden Cane with Cast Metal G.A.R., Patriotic Handle, Nice Condition.
Original American Civil War Veterans, Grand Army of the Republic Wooden Walking Stick with Cast Metal Handle.
The G.A.R. Cane measures 35” inches in length.
The Cast Metal Handle has nice detail with American Eagle, Crossed Cannons, American Flags and “G.A.R.” (see pictures).
The Wood section has no cracks and retains almost all of its original black lacquered finish.
The bottom tip of the Wood Staff shows wear and it does not look like the Walking Stick ever had a metal cap on the tip.
The G.A.R. Walking Stick is nice and tight with no looseness.
